Elizabeth Goldsmith

Co-founder, Maintenance Technician

I was born in Asheville and raised nearby in McDowell County.  I work with the maintenance team at Chispas and occasionally take on other electrical projects for folks in the community.  I became interested in the trades during the course of building my own cabin on the land I grew up on.  Since then I have worked in all kinds of fields and gained more experience working with a small electrical company, trim-carpentry crew, and taking on further DIY projects.  I love being a member of the Chispas team and believe that all people should have access to quality, affordable housing, and related services.  When I’m not in class currently pursuing becoming a licensed land surveyor and certified paramedic, I enjoy sitting on a porch and watching butterflies or bats, or hanging out with friends.
